DIY Stitched Leather Bracelet

Here’s what you’ll need:
- – Silver Creek Bracelet Blank Metallic (Gold & Gunmetal)
- – Leather Hole Punch
- – Embroidery Thread
- – Needle
- – Hot Glue Gun and Glue
- – Marker
- – Scissors
- – Clasp
- – 2 Jump Rings (8mm)
- – Ruler
Directions
Step 1: Cut your bracelet blank in half. Then, cut it in half again. Wrap your leather blank around your wrist so it is snug. Then, add an 1/8 inch and cut. If you want, you could also measure a bracelet you already have that fits you nicely.
Step 2: Flip your leather over so the back side is facing up. Leave about 1/4 inch from the end of your leather. Begin adding dots every 1/4 inch. You with place one dot close to the edge of your leather (just make sure it is not too close!) and another dot below it. Every 1/8 inch, add a dot in the center of your leather (See below).
Step 3: Put your leather hole punch on the smallest circle. Begin punching where you placed all of your dots.
Step 4: Cut a piece of floss that is a yard long and tie a knot at the end (make sure the knot is large enough so it won’t slide through your hole). Start stitching your bracelet by going up through the last bottom hole on your leather blank. Then, go back down through the center hole to the right. Go up through the top hole and then down through the center hole again. This will create a sideways ‘V’. Repeat this step until all of your ‘Vs’ are stitched.
Step 5: When you get to the end, tie a large knot. Then, take a dab of glue and rub it over both of your knot ends to keep them in place. Let your glue dry.
Step 6: Punch a hole in the center of your leather about an 1/8 inch from the end. Repeat this step on the other end. Next, open one of your jump rings, slide your clasp on, slide the jump ring through the hole you made at the end of your bracelet, and close the jump ring. Add your other jump ring to your leather bracelet. That’s it!
