gifts for my kiddos classmates. Plus, my oldest likes it when we make something different than the year before. Here is a really easy and cute idea for Valentine’s Day that is a great last minute idea too.

Hearts Candy Arrows

Here’s What You Need:

  • Jelly Hearts
  • Skewers
  • Kitchen Scissors
  • Different Colored Paper
  • Hot Glue Gun

Here are the Jelly Hearts that I used. I found these at Walmart.

Step 1:

Put jelly hearts onto the skewer. Wipe the tip clean with a damp paper towel and trim the tip with kitchen scissors.

Step 2:

Pick out a variety of colored paper for the arrow tips and feathers.

Step 3:

Make a shape like this for the tail of the arrow and cut each side to create the feathered look. Cut a triangle for the tip. Attach to the end of the skewers with the hot glue gun. Let the arrows cool. I put the arrows in cellophane bags and tied them with cute Valentine’s Day ribbon so my daughter could distribute them to her classmates.
