FOX LEAF ART FOR KIDS
Supplies Needed:
- Variety of Orange or Yellow Leaves
- Dark Colored Leaves For the Ears
- Glue
- Googly Eyes or Sharpie Marker
- Scissors
Step 1: I learned from experience that it’s best to press the leaves for at least a day. This way when you glue the foxes to the paper, the leaves won’t curl up and make your foxes look funny.
Step 2: Cut the stem off the leaf that will be used as the foxes face. Cut out triangle shapes for the ears. My daughter cut the ends of the dark leaves for this. Cut a triangle for the nose. Glue all of this onto your main leaf.
Step 3: Glue on the googly eyes.
Step 4: Glue all of your foxes to your paper or papers.
My daughter thought these were so fun to make that she made several of them.
I love how each one takes on a different personality… the googly eyes make me laugh.
This fox was my daughter’s favorite. It makes me laugh…thinking this fox must have of had a rough day. I need to keep this one around for when I have a bad day so I’ll be sure to giggle.
These really are the cutest. If you don’t have any googly eyes, just use a piece of white paper and a black marker as a substitute. I promise your kids will love these and you will just as much too. They will bring a smile to your face. Happy creating!
