Step 1. Create the pom poms using a large pom pom maker and yarn. I have found that using the pom pom maker creates a more uniform pom pom.
Step 2. Using a scrap piece of paper, form it around the paper mache cone and cut it to size. This will be the template of the ice cream cone that you will use to cut out your cute paper.
Step 3. Using the ice cream craft template, trace the cone shape onto the adhesive paper.
Step 4. Cut the cone shape out of the adhesive paper. Peel the backing off and apply it to the paper mache cone.
Step 5. Using a hot glue gun, glue along the top of the paper mache cone opening to cover the lip.
Step 6. Stick a yarn pom pom to the top of the cone.
Step 7. Hot glue a small acrylic pom pom to the top of the ice cream craft cone like it’s a cherry on top!
